+ Red Dragon
The Red Dragon Syndicate is the gang of he late Mao Fu. A new leader has taken over, and wants to restore the gang to its recently lost glory. The gang is made up of petty criminals and other exiles from Asia, whom authorities sent away to the « wastelands of Europe » to atone for their crimes.
This organization (that can hardly be called a gang) is modeled after the Chinese Triads of the 20th century. The pillar of power within this organization is an Elder, position held until recently by Mao Fu. Following his death, the Red Dragon Council appointed a new Elder, whose identity is being held secret.
Members of Red Dragon rely on superior bike technology and excellent martial arts skills to regain power in the District.

+ Rippers
The Rippers is a mostly nocturnal gang, based in the catacombs that run deep under the District, where their worship Avaggdu, their Spider Goddess, in dark rituals. Rumor has it that the Rippers are controlled by a High Priestess, who dictates the policy of the gang, which mostly consists of propagating their « faith » and quenching their goddess’ thirst for blood.
Years of living underground has granted members of the Rippers gang an excellent vision and agility, as well as a liking for ambushes in dark places.
The Rippers rely on stealth and lethal, nearly-magic weapons excavated from the Catacombs to carry out their dark crusade.

+ The Knights
These are members and offspring of the elite of the glory days of the West who, struggle to restore the District’s control to the legitimate authorities. However, they get little to no help from the government, which lacks ressources. The Knights are seen as protectors by the population, and can be seen defending civilians from the onslaught of the more violent gangs.
The Knights have developed a nearly-military discipline and hierarchy in their ranks, and have an elaborate chain of command ranging from the Commander In Chief, the only person in the District that can legally get out of it, to the lowly fighter.
Soldiers of the Knights rely on heavy armor and brutal attack power to maintain order in the District.

+ The 'Hood
The ‘Hood (short for « Brotherhood ») are a loose alliance of lawless urban warriors, interested only by pillage and systematic destruction. It has no clear leadership structure, and whichever warlord has the most people under his command rules the "gang". The ‘Hoods are sworn enemies of the Knights, who are dedicated to maintaining law and order.
These fierce warriors are right at home in the gang war that has engulfed the District. They rely on their sheer numbers, brutal strength and lack of pity to fuel their drive of destruction.
